Kate Mara - The color of this Elie Saab gown does nothing for Kate Mara. She needs to take some notes from her little sister.
Sandra Bullock - I love Sandra Bullock and Marchesa. To death. But this just doesn’t fit right on the top, and the back is more appealing than the front.
Jennifer Lopez - I love Jennifer Lopez and I don’t particularly hate this Zuhair Murad dress, but it seems more suited to the Grammys. Also, any dress that seems almost engineered to threaten a nip-slip should probably be put back into the wardrobe.
Sacha Baron Cohen - I’m sorry Mr. Dictator, you might have won the Battle of the Oscars, but you most definitely did not win the war, thanks to that truly gaudy John Galliano get-up. Then again, could we really expect anything else?
Shailene Woodley - This Valentino Couture dress could have been pretty, but it ended up looking a bit like a Project Runway disaster. One can only image Michael Kors shaking his head and groaning, “I mean it looks like someone wrapped her in the curtains and took a hole punch to her chest.”
Viola Davis - This award season was all about Viola Davis and her amazing performance in ‘The Help’, so I was a little shocked her stylist didn’t think twice about this ill fitting Vera Wang gown. However, I do give her props for wearing her natural hair rather than a wig!
Berenice Bejo - The work on this mint colored Elie Saab dress is gorgeous, but it doesn’t make up for the fact that it hides Berenice’s beautiful body, making her look dowdy and twice her age.
Sherri Shepherd - It’s probably not a good thing when a dress brings to mind the famous blueberry scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Wendi McLendon Covey - She just looks totally washed out in this princess dress.
