The Trials and Tribulations of Summer Break

High School friends, mothers, and interrupted naps. And you thought college was hard.

So you've finally made it home for summer break...

You've made it through finals...

You've moved all your shit into storage...

You braved the long plane ride or (god-forbid) car ride...

Now you're home!

You can see your old high school friends...

Until the inevitable happens....

Or after hours of this...

You realize you have done everything there ever was to do in your town...

So the rest of your summer is pretty much looking like this...

Netflix is a beautiful thing.

Your mom keeps nagging you to get a job...

There is no earthly reason a company would hire someone for less than 3 months.

You are losing the "my unpaid internship is a job" argument.

Your grandmother also really wants you to explain how the Twitter works...

And your parents' friends keep asking how college is...

You start to miss your awesome college friends...

And the freedom you had there...

You even start to miss your classes.

Sorta...

But most of all, you miss uninterrupted naps....

Before you know it...you're heading back to college again!

But being home makes you realize that there are tons of people at home that support and love you...

No matter what...

And, despite everything, you can't wait to see them next summer!
