Joannabanana90 a year agoI don’t understand your logic. You can’t put something on your body that’s been microwaved but you can ingest something that’s been microwaved? I’m more concerned about these warm, moist slippers being petri dishes for your tootsies. That and food contamination.

dandilioness a year agoI have had a few heating pads like that for my neck. There are 2 kinds, the ones, like these, that have linseeds in them kinda stink when heated but the heat lasts longer. The other are made from a synthetic substance and don’t smell but the heat goes away after 2 or 3 minutes.
I have really cold. Feet and I have OFTEN wondered why no one has thought of this. Catchy name also! -

Aside from how funny it is that heating slippers in a microwave is what gives you pause instead of food, I wasn’t aware there were still people that think microwaves use microwaves to actually cook the food. The radiation produced in microwaves is non-ionizing, and not harmful.
