i think this owl is cool but, it freaks me out at the same time.

Main owl workin' it so hard, when the rest of the bigger owls are like “chiiillll, duuude”.  AHAHHA, hilarious video, thumbs up for the upload!

Having worked with a lot of owls, I can safely say the first “version” is a very common reaction in owls and other birds. (It's really terrifying when a big owl like a Great Horned or a Great Grey does it, though, because then they puff up to like three or four feet high.) I have NEVER seen it do anything like that Dracula thing, though. All I can think of is that in the wild, it would be sitting in a tree, most likely, so perhaps it's trying to make itself look like part of a tree? Like a branch or something?  Bizarre. But hilarious.

Anyone else think it's hilarious that his name is “Popo-chan”?

Amazing! So with a credible threat he looks like a bigger owl, and something he absolutely couldn't have a chance against he makes himself look like a hawk or an eagle. AMAZING!
