How you gonna track everytime someone is being sarcastic?

I think the problem is the precedent you’re setting by trying to dictate not only what people can say but the tone in which they can say it. People shouldn’t have to worry that what they’re expressing on your site could get them in trouble. Just seems to take all the fun out of being a part of this community. Of course people should be respectful of others, and obviously in extreme cases action can be taken, but to start trying to draw a line between what is and isn’t offensive is a bad road to go down. Also I agree with other commenters that you’ve set the stage for sarcasm and snark. It would be incredibly hypocritical to allow the editors to continue their tone in their posts, but not allow the readers to participate in the chronic lampooning.
