NFL Players Say "No More" In New Anti-Domestic Violence PSA
The ad is part of the NFL's campaign to address domestic violence after a string of high-profile abuse cases involving league players, including Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson.
Around two dozen current and former NFL players say "No more" to domestic violence and sexual assault in the PSA, developed by Y&R ad agency and produced by the Joyful Heart Foundation.
The PSA is part of the league's attempt to address the issue of domestic violence since former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Rice was indefinitely suspended for knocking his wife unconscious in an elevator.
The NFL has faced intense scrutiny in how it deals with violence and assault in the aftermath of Rice's suspension and charges against other players.
This PSA is the NFL's latest attempt to address these concerns since the creation of a women-led “social responsibility” team.
The PSA also addresses the public's attitude towards domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.
The PSA will premiere during Thursday Night Football on Oct. 23.
