Amber Bellows plunged 2,000 feet to her death after her parachute failed to open near Utah's Zion National Park.
In a statement, Acting Superintendent Jim Milestone said, "It is just really sad and our condolences go out to her family and friends.
BASE jumping is so dangerous. Even for those that are experienced, like Amber Bellows. That is one of the reasons it is not allowed in the park."
A base jumper leaps from the 300-meter Open Deck of the Malaysia's landmark Kuala Lumpur Tower during the annual International Tower Jump in Kuala Lumpur on Sept. 27, 2013.
