Prosecutors are seeking Adrian Peterson's arrest after he allegedly admitted using weed and could possibly fail a court-ordered drug test, TMZ reported Thursday.
The Minnesota Vikings running back reportedly submitted a urine test on Wednesday as a condition of his bond in the child abuse case.
Peterson made his first court appearance on Wednesday to face charges of beating his 4-year-old son.
During the court-ordered drug test, Peterson allegedly told an employee of the company that he had recently "smoked a little weed," TMZ reported.
Failing the court-ordered drug test would directly violate terms of Peterson's bond. Prosecutors are now reportedly asking the court to have Peterson arrested.
