I once ignored two men who walked by me and said, “Damn, girl”. It led to them turning around, following me, calling me a “f-ing bitch” until I responded with harsh words of my own and another man came to my aid. It’s not always offensive, but can easily lead to attacks.

I’m in Phoenix and when you’re used to 120 in the summer, 28 degrees is pretty cold! I only own 3 pairs of closed toe shoes:) I don’t think I could handle the real cold back east.
