23 out of the millions that drop out of school every year, is pretty slim justification to be a dropout. All of them had to work their asses off, just to silence the haters, THEN go that extra marathon. Are you? ;)

Like listening to a junkyard car rev at redline until it explodes… and about as subtle. The explosion part will be pretty cool, though. :P
A few of my relatives live around the Bay… they love it. I envy their access to great food. :)
Poulsbo, WA and Bainbridge Island, WA: you live on the Kitsap side, ferry to work where the jobs are on the Seattle side, ‘cause good luck finding any tech work in a gentrified farm community. BI<=>SEA ferry is the most packed all all the Sound routes, so traffic is crazy-dense and hella expensive — over $25/day just to drive to work. Many ride motorcycles, but you take your chances Nov - April, when it freezes on a whim. So, save $17/weekday, or pay a huge hospital bill for your skin graft and broken pelvis… A few of these I found kinda lame… such as, who the hell would live in Fresno for sunny days? I lived in Visalia not even a year before getting the hell out of the San Joaquin… and I came from Phoenix. XD Lastly, I find it pretty suspect that Scottsdale has the lowest city crime rate. Maybe they mean *convicted* felons, as there are a lot of lawyers in SD/PV. Or it just maybe they commit their crimes next door in Downtown or in Apache Junction. :D Honolulu has always had people from all over… but lately even the neighbor islands are looking more West Hollywood than the islands I grew up on… Oh, and lived in all these places. ;)
UK sweets are the business… Flake in vanilla bean ice cream and coffee ice cream, yum.
Am wondering where in Europe the author lived… in Germany many of these things were available and in use waaaay back before the Web. Maybe it was because it was a GI host town maybe… but so were many towns in Europe. I missed 120VAC devices without transformers, and fast food outlets like Wendy’s. Mostly, the all-night schnitzel cart and 18-yo drinking age made up for it, though. :D
Yup.
Some of these are valid, but more are awesome than bad. Fail.
Never stop questioning what is, and why it isn’t better. Eu te amo! :)
I’m thinking some of these Pinteresters are ‘nailing it’, since some of these do work for me (like the can opener for plastic cladding), and the rest are trolls. If you thought Mountain Dew would glow with kitchen staples, you need to seriously reflect on your life’s choices. XD
