YouTubers Cash in on Toronto Disaster

Tech Buzz Two big-time YouTube creators got almost a million views combined for their eyewitness videos of an explosion in Toronto that killed two people. Except they weren’t really there. Exploitation? Innocent fun? Oh probably just innocent fun. But when everyone makes YouTube mashups of the next big terrorist attack, it’s gonna get awwwwkwaaaard.

Afro Ninja: Destiny

Movie Buzz The infamous YouTube clip is now the basis for a movie. Little known fact: The man known to most of the world as Afro Ninja is in fact Mark Harris, a stuntman with a long list of movie credits to his name. Add one more: his film, Afro Ninja, takes the failed audition outtake as the beginning of one man’s transformation from a nobody with big hair to a true warrior.
