Are Mohd Abdullah’s shorts too short? Members at the Tournament Capital Centre in Canada seem to think so, and have lodged complaints against the pilates and yoga instructor who claims he’d rather close out his membership than discard the “six to eight pairs of short shorts” he owns. Not for nothing, but is this guy not just begging to be the next poster boy for American Apparel?

Dr. Madan Kataria is the brain behind Laughter Yoga, a combination of “laughter exercises with yoga breathing.” He’s also the brains behind its accompanying YouTube videos, which are like Tim and Eric-style insanity (poor editing, green screen, terrible music), but real. Your dog wants to be limber and spiritually fulfilled, too. Even though “doga” is basically an excuse to use your dog as a weight, it is not animal cruelty, because you are bonding. (These classes have apparently been around for a bit, but the dog-as-dumbbell aspect seems fairly innovative.)

A new style of yoga in which traditional poses are performed on a tightrope, often in remote outdoor locations. We can barely do a headstand, much less walk a tight rope, much less do both at the same time. But there is a rare breed of athlete that actually puts this into practice.
