A new documentary chronicles Philippe Petit’s 1974 tightrope walk between the twin towers. The film, which won both the World Cinema Jury and Audience awards at Sundance, explains in detail how Petit managed to pull off the amazing stunt. Explaining why he was moved to perform the dangerous and illegal act, Petit responds, “When I see three oranges, I juggle; when I see two towers, I walk.”
