Sarah Gronert is a 22-year-old professional tennis player who was born with both male and female genitalia, but has since undergone gender reassignment surgery to become a woman. She is facing criticism from coaches and peers who claim she should be ineligible to play on the women's tour. A coach of an opponent said, “There is no girl who can hit serves like that, not even Venus Williams.” If the Williams sisters can play on the tour, Sarah Gronert should be able to as well.
