MOVIE BUZZ: A terrible sex scene in the Watchmen movie has people talking. Zach Snyder, visionary director, made an unintentionally hilarious and awkward sex scene in the middle of the movie, weirdly set to Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah . I'm just glad I'm not alone in my disdain, because I really have so little else left to live for at this point.

MOVIE BUZZ: How can you tell if a movie's any good or not without actually seeing it? Oh, yeah: Critics! The score (so far): Generally positive, with a rave from Ebert and a few extremely negative reviews, most notably from Anthony Lane. I'll give my 2 cents after this evening's 12:20 screening! Update: As someone said as we left the theater at 3 a.m., “Well, at least we got that over with.” Un-smiley face.

MOVIE BUZZ: Lawyers for Fox are suing Warner Brothers to prevent their upcoming $120 million release of “Watchmen”. Apparently, Fox bought the rights to a “Watchmen” movie back in the 80’s, and may be trying to stop Warner Bros from ever releasing the highly anticipated film. But, knowing Fox, they’ll probably just settle for a superhero payday.
