    W. W. Denslow is best known for illustrating L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, but he was a talented artist responsible for a number of books and cartoons. In 1909, he wrote and illustrated When I Grow Up, which appeared in St. Nicholas Magazine and as a stand-alone publication.
