On Nov. 23, 2012, lava from the Kilauea volcano met the sea for the first time in 11 months. And it looked pretty cool.
A wondrous and terrifying descent into the bowels of the Earth. Geoff Mackley, Bradley Ambrose, Nathan Berg became the first people to pull off this feat.
The Tungurahua volcano has been active since 1999, but in the past two days has become so violent that nearby villages are being evacuated.
