But, the airline reportedly won’t honor the ridiculously low-priced fares this time.
When United Airlines’ website went haywire Thursday night, a bunch of lucky people obtained flight fares for as low as $10, $5, and ZERO dollars! United announced Friday that it would honor those tickets bought during the glitch.
“We allow you to exchange worthless paper for the opportunity to ride a missile across the world.”
After the Chicago Tribune’s Web site accidentally ran a story from six years ago about United declaring bankruptcy, the airline’s stock dropped 99%. Oops. Hate to be that web editor.
