Sports Buzz A recently unearthed death threat against Red Sox pitcher Joe Wood from 1912. Wood was having a stellar season that year and the scoundrels who typed this letter were apparently trying to knock him off his game with typos. It's strangely comforting to see that trolls haven't gotten any better at spelling in almost a century.
Redditor Aubrius says, “My brother sent this to me after I committed a typo involving Fruity Pebbles.” BuzzFeed Editor says: “This is quite possibly the most offensive thing we've ever seen. Those aren't even pueblos!”
One typo can change the entire tone of an email. Sucks for the guy who sent that email to a client. On the bright side, I have a new email sig!
How often do you see typos on official signage? This stop is very confusing to the poor tourists who venture out to Brooklyn.
Can you spot the error on this OK Magazine cover? Note: for the purposes of this challenge, we are looking for spelling and typographical errors only. Lapses in general judgment and existential purpose will not be counted.
