It was inspired by the work Ernest Hemingway regarded as his greatest: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” There is some serious design talent contributing to this project, but they also invite people to submit their own work.

The type foundry House Industries has launched Photo-Lettering, a new site that allows you to set words of your choice in their typefaces, change the colors, and purchase a vector file of the customized lettering. A useful tool for non-designers or people who just want to customize a few words without having to purchase the typeface. Warning: Playing with font and color combinations can be addicting.
