Tried reading Tumblr recently? You can’t. The site has censored itself to draw attention to Congress’s upcoming votes on the PROTECT-IP Act and the Stop Online Piracy Act. If passed, these bills would clear the way for corporations to control what content is up about them on the web, as well as imposing even stricter punishments on piracy sites and users.
