Listen, we know that despite the fact that it did not live up to its hype, Hurricane Irene was no joke. It was a very serious drizzling that inconvenienced a lot of people who bought a lifetime supply of peanut butter. Hell, it even broke Vermont. That said, there were some very funny images that came from it, as it seemed to bring out the best in some folks.
Late Saturday night, four friends went out on a bike ride to see what the tropical storm was really like. The video starts off with biking during the afternoon drizzle, and resumes during the torrential downpour and high winds, notably biking down the middle of a wholly deserted Times Square and Chinatown.
