Culture Buzz The new single and title track of the Pain's new album 'Belong' was released on Slumberland Records Feb. 3.
Drummer Kurt Feldman captured this key moment when I turned around to blow my nose during the show in Toulouse, France. I'm like the Disaster Girl of indie rock shows.

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart are Amazon's Daily Deal today, meaning you can get their totally awesome album for only $3. You should really do this, because it is great, and legally-obtained music is the future, and we love Peggy. There, that is 3 reasons to buy it. Thank me later.

BuzzFeed's own Peggy Wang is in a band, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, which gets a glowing review today in the New York Times — it even singles out her “high harmonies,” which “when faintly whispered, added necessary texture. So did her synthesizer, which was smooth and glassy on 'Young Adult Friction' and needling and whiny on 'The Tenure Itch.'” Go Peggy!!! I was at this show and can say that Jon Caramanica's review is totally right on. If you live near Austin, Los Angeles, anywhere in the Northeast or Europe, or will be in those areas in the next few months, you should go see them live as soon as you possibly can.
