Vanity Fair parodies the controversial New Yorker Obama Cover by creating a cover for McCain. You can tell it is satire because McCain’s wife is not a pill popper, McCain is not really old, he does not support Bush’s policies, etc.

The artist behind the cartoon said he is trying to satirize the baseless scaremongering used against Obama; That didn’t stop the campaign from calling it “tasteless and offensive.”
