Directed by McG, starring Christian Bale. [Jack's Note: This is already my favorite movie of all time, and it's not even out yet. I sure hope those machines don't win!]
Based on this Helicopter Theory, the new Terminator movie is going to suck. I'd refute this theory if I could, but: it's a chart, which is like math, which is always right. :(
This preview of upcoming 2009 movies ran during the closing credits of the Oscars last night. Sherlock Holmes! Public Enemies! Harry Potter! And also, Night at the Museum 2: 2 Fast 2 Museumy. I have been waiting for that one.
Some of the latest upgrades to the Terminator just aren't really that frightening.

The man on the receiving end of Christian Bale's tirade was cinematographer Shane Hurlbut. In addition to “Terminator Salvation,” he has been the DP on “We Are Marshall,” “Swing Vote,” and “Semi-Pro.”
Well, that didn't take long. The sound recording of Christian Bale's tirade from the set of Terminator 3 has been remixed into some really exceptionally catchy dance tunes. Thank you, Internet. You're doing excellent work, as usual.

“Moving” in the sense that the poster actually moves - not that it's, like, emotionally resonant. Unless, of course, you find the idea of Los Angeles being destroyed by killer robots to be upsetting.
Warner Bros. is releasing the trailer for the next Terminator installment, starring Christian Bale, just in time to capitalize on the country’s “Dark Knight” fever. People seem surprised that it looks like it doesn’t totally suck, especially given that it’s directed by McG. Jason Kottke raises a good point here: When is McG going to stop going by that ridiculous name?
