Fan boy Dogan Can Gundogdu made this dark and visceral sequence — feels like I was watching the opening to Se7en. The real “Dark Knight Rises” doesn’t drop until July 20th.
Nope. You can’t make out Bane’s voice (or Batman’s) any better in a Lego parody, either. Thanks for trying, Sumkid.
Some hardcore fan of the Batman mashed up Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises” trailer with bits from “Batman: The Animated Series.” And it’s wonderful.
It’s just like the real thing. Only cheaper. Much cheaper. Watch Video ›
“TDKR” fanatics have been skeptical whether or not the Boy Wonder will show face in Christopher Nolan’s final Batman installment. But, some comic book obsessives discovered one hell of an Easter egg in the new trailer.
The new leaked images of Catwoman seem to suggest Anne Hathaway wearing a cut-up Batman cowl as the Catwoman mask. Take a closer look at the image and decide for yourself. If this is right, that opens up new questions and maybe a few spoilers. View Image ›
This on-the-set leaked footage shows Batman and Catwoman in action following the chase and crashing the HEMTT. Gordon may also appear in this shot. Batman walks to the HEMTT and hooks the winch from the Batwing to something in the back of the smoking HEMTT while Catwoman watches. I have no idea how she got there in those stilettos. Watch Video ›
Ever since news of a third Batman film by Christopher Nolan was announced, the rumor that Robin would be featured in some way keeps cropping up. Christian Bale and Nolan have both denied it, but, according to one source, the Boy Wonder will make an appearance in “The Dark Knight Rises” and will be played by “the dark-haired guy from 3rd Rock From the Sun.” We do know that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is cast as a policeman named John Blake, but this recent hearsay about JG-L’s superhero transformation is not yet confirmed. This weekend, Catwoman (presumably Anne Hathaway’s stunt double) was caught hauling her kitty hindquarters around Pittsburgh with some Tumblers. It’s unclear whether the civilian footage captured actual reel in the making from “The Dark Knight Rises” or, more likely, if Selina Kyle was test-driving the Batpod to avoid another crash into an IMAX cam. Check out this clip from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, recorded on location at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh. It’s a pretty climactic moment, and, even though you’re just listening to Tom Hardy as Bane, it is a teensy bit spoiler-ish. It’s also pretty interesting what Hardy does with Bane’s voice and accent. Nevermind the fake full-body pic of Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman that spun around the Web yesterday. Some legit news related to “The Dark Knight Rises” villain has come to light. According to sources, Selina Kyle’s roundly criticized costume seen here is not complete (phew!), and “she has a history of abuse and works as a stripper and is also a pickpocket.” (via.) It’s basically The Dark Knight Rises poster with rice. Possibly an attempt to ensure success in the international box office since it’s the most important staple food in, well, pretty much anywhere outside the U.S. and Europe. View Image ›
Based on his old MySpace, Tom Hardy used to be kind of douchey? THE INTERNET NEVER FORGETS. I love how every time he tries to act like a gansgta, something in the background ruins the effect. (More pics here.) View List ›
