A Yavapai-Prescott Tribal police officer used his stun gun during the arrest of a man Friday afternoon after the man refused to comply with the officer's verbal commands to turn around. The man taking the video stated several times on the video and to the officer that the man who had been tased was mentally challenged. Click here for full details on what happened. (via dcourier.com)
And they don't even tell him what the charges are. Don't they have to tell him what he's being arrested for? I don't think “It doesn't matter” is a legitimate answer officer. (via 973thedawg.com)
Tragic story out of Fullerton, California. After being suspected of breaking into cars at a bus depot, 37-year-old schizophrenic Kelly Thomas was repeatedly beaten and tased by a group of five or six police officers. Thomas fell into a coma and died a week later. A very graphic photo of the extent of his injuries can be seen here. Thomas' death has sparked protests and vigils in Fullerton. Police maintain Thomas resisted arrest. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing. This video of the beating was taken at a distance, but you can hear Thomas screaming as he's being tased and crying out for his father.
An unruly fan gets tasered and beaten at a recent Pittsburgh Pirates game as the crowd chants patriotically. Were they rooting for the unruly fan? The stadium security? The aversion of a government shutdown thanks to American statesmanship? Regardless, they probably weren't rooting for the Pirates.

Hopefully he wasn't tazed in certain exposed extremities.
Devo's awesome new track 'Don't Shoot (I'm A Man)' actually features a chorus dedicated to the viral video 'Don't Tase Me Bro.' I think it's safe to say tasing is the 21st century version of whipping it.

A man has invented an electric lobster taser because, ya know, that's better than being boiled alive….kind of.
Culture Buzz Tasers are so hot right now. (Thanks mcLOL for the idea )
Tech Buzz Brass Knuckles + 950,000 volts of electricity = one bad-ass method of self-defense. Seriously, what video game did they pull these out of? Are they even fair!?

North Carolina cops taser a 29-year-old man four times. He dies an hour later. Autopsy report says death was natural, cause was “due to acute psychosis” I watch a lot of Cops and they always taser everyone. It looks crazy painful.
