Steve Dahl, a Chicago radio personality for 30 years, is leaving WJMK-FM because of financial cutbacks. He is seen as a pioneer in talk radio and an influence on Howard Stern, among others. He also once blew up a box of disco records on the field at Chicago's Comiskey Park, nearly starting a riot. You'd think that would be enough to ensure him a job, but apparently nobody is safe in today's harsh fiscal climate.
