Music Buzz Huey Lewis’ (of Huey Lewis & the News fame of course) composes original track for upcoming stoner comedy, Pineapple Express. Co-writer and co-star of the comedy, Seth Rogan, was able to convince Huey Lewis to compose the film’s title track. When propositioning Lewis, Rogan added that all he wanted was for “it to sound like his 80’s work that he loved so much.” With lyrics like, “I’ve got you, you’ve got me. We are as high, as we can be,” and copious alto sax bits, it’s tough to go wrong.
Movie Buzz The highly anticipated sequel to Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle will be released April 25, 2008. Our favorite stoners are back, and this time a confusion between the word ‘bong’ and ‘bomb’ on the plane to Amsterdam lands them in Guantanamo on charges of terrorism. We’re looking forward to seeing more anthropomorphic bags of pot and Neil Patrick Harris riding a unicorn.
