Recently, a group has tried to weaken that definition of the word “nom.” The National Organization for Marriage—NOM—this week debuted an ad about gay marriage. It is stupid and lie-filled, with barely capable actors mouthing urban legends (see their audition tapes here) but because of the recent victories for gay marriage across the country, the ad has received a lot of attention on cable news.
