Who knew dinosaurs were so weird?
AKA the ONLY reason for getting our butts out of bed so early.
Long ago, there was a vital and critical reason to wake up early on a Saturday and that reason was Saturday Morning Cartoons. We’d rise from our slumbers grab our bowl of sugary cereal and sit in front of the television for hours. Here is what we learned.

How could we have forgotten about the animated treasure that was Hammerman?!
Batman: The Animated Series was, by far, the most badass part of Saturday morning cartoons. It single-handedly made 9 AM on Saturday worth being awake for.
Thank goodness for Saturday Morning Cartoons. Otherwise, I would have never turned on my TV and discovered that Jessica Walter voiced a character on “The Magic School Bus” back in the early 90s.
What were studio execs thinking? This could never happen in 2011, mainly because thereâ€™s not much Saturday morning TV for kids left (other than third-rate syndicated animal facts shows and reruns of Busytown) and comedians are too cool and too edgy to be asked to participate in such an endeavor.
