    Culture Buzz Stampedes of crazed shoppers have already claimed several casualties this Black Friday. So far today a Walmart worker in Long Island was killed and a woman suffered a miscarriage. As if we needed more reasons to avoid shopping.

  • Whale Euthansia

    Science Buzz A baby whale that had been abandoned by its mother off the coast of Australia was euthanized after veterinarians determined it would not survive on its own. The poor little thing bonded with a yacht thinking it was his mother and tried to suckle from it. The whale was only two or three weeks old, hadn’t eaten for a week and had been bitten by sharks. The move to euthanize him has caused considerable controversy and animal lovers everywhere are mourning the loss of the whale nicknamed “Colin”.

  • Bunny Beheadings

    Culture Buzz Over 40 rabbits have been have been mysteriously murdered since last summer in the Ruhr district of Germany . The animals which were brutally beheaded and drained of blood were mostly being kept out of sight suggesting that the killers maybe using Google Earth to track them down. Whether internet savvy Satanists are the culprits or just sadistic teenagers Germans are being warned to keep their pets locked away.

    Politics Buzz The 58-year-old Meet The Press anchor (and author) died of a heart attack. Weirdly enough, the NBC personality - known for never abandoning his Buffalo-bred blue-collar roots - recently published his memoirs. Sadly, it now seems eerily timely.

    Celebrity Buzz The legendary 83-year-old actor is reportedly “very ill” with terminal lung cancer. Impossibly perfect, Newman is both an accomplished actor and active philanthropist whose [awesome] salad dressings have raised over $100M for charity.

    Celebrity Buzz Sad news: The actor’s rep has confirmed he has pancreatic cancer. A doctor says he’s responding well to treatment and everyone’s optimistic, but survival rates for pancreatic cancer are horrifyingly low.
