CULTURE BUZZ: Today is HumanLight, the Humanist's secular December holiday of choice! If you are still looking for an end-of-the-year holiday to fit your non-religious beliefs, perhaps you can turn to this “anyhow, anytime” celebration. The only rule is there are no rules, because rules feel like religious or cultural beliefs imposed upon an unthinking society. Not the Humanist way.

An atheist sign put up in the Washington State Capitol (next to a Nativity Scene) that mysteriously disappeared last Friday has finally been found. In a ditch. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (who also put up those billboards you may have read about) has been posting this sign in the Wisconsin Capitol for years, and it has seen its share of abuse, too.
