An atheist sign put up in the Washington State Capitol (next to a Nativity Scene) that mysteriously disappeared last Friday has finally been found. In a ditch. The Freedom From Religion Foundation (who also put up those billboards you may have read about) has been posting this sign in the Wisconsin Capitol for years, and it has seen its share of abuse, too.

Armenian and Greek Monks clashed at Church of Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The Greek monks were pissed the Armenians did not include them in the ceremony commemorating the 4th-century discovery of the cross used to crucify Jesus. POLITICS BUZZ: You know how politicians speak in code that only the base will understand? Well I grew up Pentacostal and I’m pretty sure McCain just called Obama the Antichrist. So does a group of Democratic consultants, who argue that a seemingly innocent McCain ad mocking Obamamania actually implies that the Democratic candidate is the great deceiver prophesied in the Biblical book of Revelation. The neat trick is that this accusation turns all Obama’s strengths into weaknesses. Great speaker? So is the Antichrist. Seems like he’ll bring world peace? So will the Antichrist. Doesn’t buy $500 shoes? Oh, there’s probably a verse about that.

The tongue-in-cheek calendar appropriately titled “Ladies of ‘69,” for the Jewish year 5769, features Israeli and Jewish-American models Bar Refali, Donna Feldman, Esti Ginzburg, Moran Atias, Adi Neumann, and Neta Bell-Silber. The controversial calendar can be found inside the latest issue of Heeb Magazine and gives the whole Catholic school girl thang a run for its money. Hot Mitzvah.
