Nashville musican Matt Glassmeyer built a roof on his porch out of 350 damaged LP records. It's held up pretty well after two years of use.

Culture Buzz The woman who held the world record for “World's Longest Fingernails” lost them in a car crash this week outside Salt Lake City, Utah! She had been growing her nails since 1979, so although her injuries aren't life threatening I'd consider them pretty damn serious. At its peak, her longest thumb nail measured 2ft 11in.
Music Buzz Rolling Stone unveils the secret White House record collection, which was last updated during the Carter Administration. It includes such classics as Led Zeppelin IV, Let It Bleed, and more by Santana, Neil Young, Talking Heads, Isaac Hayes, Elton John, the Cars and Barry Manilow. But the question everybody's been asking is, “Will Obama bring it back?”
