Music Buzz As a tribute to Whitney Houston, Staten Island's PS22 chorus decided to perform a rendition of “The Greatest Love of All.” Spoilers: these guys are seriously adorable. Especially the soloists — what charmers!
Probably my favorite part of the Oscars. Besides James Franco’s butt jiggle, obviously.
Kylie and the kids sing “Put Your Hands Up!” This is just too cute!!
After the requisite two minutes of OMG SPAZZING OUT. (Common is perhaps not the most appropriate visitor for a group of fifth-graders, but whatever, they're so happy!!!)
As BuzzFeed's resident Thomas Mars enthusiast, and as a person with a heart, it is my duty to post this latest lovely video from the PS22 Chorus. (Thanks, Matt.)
PS22's hit the big time! A couple weeks ago they were on VH1's Divas Live, and now they're performing at a luncheon for Beyonce and GaGa. Here they are singing Beyonce's “Halo.”
I wasn't sure how I felt about my favorite children's chorus, from PS22, performing Perez Hilton's request for Lady Gaga's “Let's Dance” until I saw the amazing dance moves of the elementary school-ers. All is redeemed by the somewhat safe-for-children lyrics sung by sassy Tirzah and some seriously awesome dance moves by the chorus.
BWE found a new video from my (and your, admit it) favorite elementary school chorus, with a new fantastic soloist. You thought you could ruin this song, David Chase, but the PS22 Chorus has triumphed.
Fleetwood Mac's Landslide as performed by a group of New York City elementary school students. This seemed fitting since the end of the school year is upon us and those children just keep getting older.
