Yesterday, the U.S. Coast Guard released footage of a Cessna 310 (N23BT) ditching into the Pacific Ocean while en route to Hawaii from Monterey, California. The pilot notified authorities that he expected to run out of fuel about 35 miles short of his destination of Hilo. He was rescued without injury. (via.)
