Remember when the whole Internet got really excited for a second about how we were going to have this awesome social network living inside our iTunes which would allow us to share our music with our friends? And then, how, like, it turned out that Ping was a spam-filled, embarrassingly commercial, completely nonsocial wasteland? Ping is drowning in scams and spams. Or, at least that's the claim from security firm Sophos, which has been monitoring Apple's new social network closely since it launched on Wednesday.
