Tech Buzz Kromked.net is the new Facebook scam that's taking the nation by storm. Facebook users are receiving random messages in their account encouraging them to “visit www.kromked.net,” which will lead you to a captcha form. The prevailing theory is that this is a malware attack site, rather than a phishing scam (like yesterday's Fbaction deal). So, in short, don't click on the link.
Tech Buzz BuzzFeed PSA: If you get an IM from someone asking you to “hey, check out this video” or something similar, DO NOT enter your Gmail info into the screen that pops up. I'm not sure to what evil ends this phishing scam is trying to get your login info, but it can't end happily. Because it's a SCAM.

Tech Buzz Twitter ranking site Twitterank was the big news on Twitter today, until users started worrying about the fact that they'd unquestioningly given it their passwords. It's still not entirely clear whether this was an elaborate hoax, a phishing scam, or just another arbitrary Twitter ranking site, but it's been fun watching everyone scramble to try and figure it out.
