Part one of the Hobbit movie (titled “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”) will not be hitting theaters until December 14th, 2012; however, Peter Jackson has been terrific with supplying anxious J. R. R. Tolkien fans with photos and videos of the filming process. Although he declined to speak at Comic-Con, he did release this new behind-the-scenes video full of interviews, costumes, and Andy Serkis bringing back Gollum in a powerfully creepy way.

Movie Buzz The trailer for the long-awaited Peter Jackson-produced alien flick has arrived — complete with matching online viral marketing! The Internet's abuzz with rumors about the realistic effects and creepy multiple websites that all connect to the film's story, which involves aliens living in “slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.” Does this not ring any bells with anyone else? Did we all forget last summer's epic Blair Witch-ian battle against aliens codenamed Cloverfield? I'm still having NYC nightmares.
