Movie Buzz The final dance sequence in Slumdog Millionaire was epic. The song, Jai Ho by Rahman and Gulzar, is an Oscar nominee for “Best Original Song” and has a pretty good shot at winning. These various YouTube reenactments alone are worthy of some kind of high-five.

The Dark Knight is currently tied with Revolutionary Road for Most Snubbed of 2008, but Oscar nominations are still to come. The Wrestler still has a chance.

Those who’ve gotten a hold of the script are describing it in the most glowing terms. Brad Pitt has reportedly been offered the lead role of Lt. Aldo, who hunts for Nazi scalps.
Movie Buzz As more reviews of The Dark Knight keep rolling in, Heath Ledger as the Joker is getting all the attention. Peter Travers’ review in Rolling Stone kicked off the Oscar chatter, but most other people who’ve seen the movie seem to agree that Leger is amazing in the role.
Movie Buzz A movie based on the sensational murders from 1920s Los Angeles is getting good buzz at Cannes. The film, The Changeling, stars Angelina Jolie and is directed by Clint Eastwood. It may spark interest in the creepy case again.
