A surprisingly interesting and watchable museum of Flash preloaders? What's that? You're not a web designer and you don't know what a Flash preloader is? If you spend much time online, you actually do: It's that usually irritating “Loading” message you're hit with when you visit a particularly large Flash site. This site has collected a bunch of preloaders which are worth seeing in and of themselves. Trust me, it's more interesting than it sounds.

CULTURE BUZZ: A new exhibit at the Museum of Sex is a celebration of the “diversity of animal sexual behavior”. This statue of the Deersome is just one of many amazing animal sexual experiences that are on display at the museum. It’s like if all the humping animals I ever saw on TV crept out of my dreams, only to coalesce in one place. Naturally, that’s New York City baby.

SCIENCE BUZZ: An Icelandic museum devoted to the male organ, with preserved examples of everything from sperm whale to hamster (but no humans). Don’t worry, though, they’ve got four volunteers lined up to donate their penises after death. How’s this for creepy: “Stan Underwood supplied a written description of his penis — which he purportedly nick-named ‘Elmo’ — for display alongside a life-size plastic mould of the member as well as his pledge to donate it.”
