It may not as good as the Enemy of the state review. But I'm a sucker for these alternative movie reviews. Kisses to the first person who does a Mary Poppins one.
So this is your typical movie ad…except the blurbs are from YouTube commenters. Ha! My favorite is: “Hope the weather is nice so I can ride my Norton to the theatre.” YouTube is nicer in Canada, apparently.
The storied movie critic responds in kind to a reader’s question, it’s funny as #ell. This is way better than when William Safire tries to tell us how the kids today talk.
Marcia Nasatir (81) and Screenwriter Lorenzo Semple Jr (85) use their decades of experience in the movie industry to review the latest Hollywood films. In this particular review for Sex And The City, Lorenzo calls himself a metrosexual (into clothes and food) but never really connected with the SATC gals. Marcia just thinks it’s all BS (her mother in the 50’s would NEVER get married in such a dreadful dress.)
