Tech Buzz Foursquaropoly. All the fun of paying bills on a business with none of the real life profits. It only surprises me this game took so long to become reality.
Unfortunately I don't believe it's real. But I need it now. Ah why if it isn't my old friends “rock” and “hard place.” How I missed thee. (via stream.pleated-jeans.com)
Culture Buzz What do you mean this isn't available at retail? Deviant artist Pink Axolotl made this one of a kind board for her boyfriend's birthday. Now if we all work together, we can steal it.
Culture Buzz The board game geeks at USAopoly are readying 1,701 units of “Monopoly: Star Trek Klingon Limited Edition” for Trekkies this November. Watch craftsmen Alec McTurk sculpt a Klingon Capital (in place of a hotel), a Klingon outpost (instead of a house), and a Bat'leth game token. Pre-order yours here.
Urlesque whipped up this memeified version of Monopoly. Manufacture and sell, please.
What's wrong with good old fashioned board games? This $50 version of Monopoly features a digital tower in the center that rolls non-existent fake dice with fake dice sounds, manages rent calculations, announces player turns and even remembers how much money you have. I’ll stick to the regular version, thanks.

Tired of buying cities? Buy some social media companies! And look, BuzzFeed made it on the board. Check out the full image and the Chance and Community Chest Cards at Bite Daily.
The world's shortest Monopoly game: 21 seconds long. [Ed. note: There was actually a fair amount of science that went into this. Which is a bit troubling, now that I think about it.]

GamesRadar has created the ultimate version of Monopoly for the gamer set. Can someone give me a loan so I can buy Hyrule for $350?
The board game Monopoly is getting a facelift that nobody was really clamoring for! This fall, the 75th anniversary Monopoly sets will be circular and all futuristic and stuff. The game itself will still reportedly be generally pretty aggravating to play with people.
This is what happens when an online gamer is forced to play board games with his girlfriend and her n00b friends. The internet turns everyone into an asshole. You should see me when I'm playing Web Boggle.
At some point in the game, Monopoly becomes the single most hateful and vindictive experience a family ever goes through.
Movie Buzz Brace yourselves: Hasbro is taking over Hollywood. If you loved the idea of movies based on popular action figures, you will doubtless be THRILLED to discover that several beloved board games are set to become blockbuster films in the near future. Yay?
Designer Andy Mangold designs a better Monopoly. Unfortunately, this streamlined version will not be in a store near you. What we've got here is just pure design candy.
Culture Buzz The world has voted and the results are in for the cities that will make up the new Monopoly Here And Now: World Edition. Supposedly over 5.6 million people voted, but it raises some suspicion that Boardwalk and Park Place are being replaced by Montreal and Riga, Latvia. I demand a recount!
