STYLE BUZZ: Twenty-year-old model Ruslana Korshunova fell to her death from her downtown New York apartment building yesterday in an apparent suicide. Known as “The Russian Rapunzel” Korshunova — originally of Almaty, Kazakhstan — had been featured in ads for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior. Her tragic death seems to have come as an absolute surprise to friends and family, who claimed she seemed to be “on top of the world,” though some reports suggest that she had shown her distress in posts on a social networking site.

STYLE BUZZ: Designer Vivienne Westwood raised quite a few eyebrows by employing Roma Gypsy models during her Milan runway shows. The models were styled to look “rough, stylish and hardened” and sported gold teeth and medallions.
