Will Norton and his father were on their way home from Will’s high school graduation when the Joplin tornado struck. Despite his father’s frantic efforts to hold on to him, Will was sucked through the sun roof of their vehicle by the tornado. His father is in stable condition, but Will is still missing. Will Norton was known as Willdabeest on Youtube, where his video journals had been seen over 1.6 million times. His family has established a Facebook page to try and find him. A stolen eight-foot tall mechanical gorilla was returned to its rightful owner this week, after a series of events involving YouTube hostage videos, a sock puppet named Sammie Longdong and a corn field in Vermont. After the Gorilla was first stolen from a Maine flea market, its owners took to YouTube to proclaim, “America, We Need Your Help”. The kidnappers countered with a mysterious video showing the robotic Gorilla as hostage to a sock puppet demanding a Dr. Evilish $1,000,000.
