We watched, we waited, we held our breath. And, yes, now we can all finally breathe a sigh of relief. All 33 of the trapped Chilean miners are safe. Although challenges still remain for these brave souls, hopefully the hardest part is over!
After 69 days of being trapped 2,000 feet below the earth’s surface, ten Chilean miners have been rescued, with more to come. Their historic survival has captivated the world. Truly a great day for all!
Just thinking about this is enough to cause claustrophobia.
