Music Buzz Well this is shocking. It turns out Madge was not a fan of M.I.A.'s decision to flip off a hundred million people. I can't imagine why?

Oh my God, you guys, M.I.A. flipped off America! Let’s all wring our hands over a manufactured “malfunction” and behave as if we didn’t dare the half-time show to be provocative.
M.I.A. don't give a shit. But she did give a middle finger to the camera while performing “Give Me All Your Luvin'” alongside Nicki Minaj and Madonna during Madge's Super Bowl XLVI halftime show.
Music Buzz Screeching tires and blingy ensembles accompany M.I.A. in “Bad Girls.” (via.)
Miami Heat is super hot on the BuzzFeed Network right now. Here's all the best viral buzz on Miami Heat.
All it needs is an M.I.A. soundtrack and a scene where Gwyneth Paltrow climbs out of an outhouse puddle and this will be Oscar bait for sure!

Lynn Hirschberg wrote an extremely unflattering (but maybe not unfair?) profile of M.I.A. for the NYT Magazine. Then M.I.A. responded like an adult, by tweeting the reporter's phone number. Responded Hirschberg: “The messages have mostly been from people trying to hook up with M.I.A.,” she said. “If she wants to get together with John at Bard next week, I have his number.”
Shark Attack fashion is really taking off. I am looking forward to the sneakers (or maybe some pants a la Winkers?).
Life is full of really tough decisions, you guys. Real tough.
Remember the cute little polka dot dress super-pregnant M.I.A. wore to the Grammy's? This is her 5-month-old son wearing the same ensemble. Kid is gonna run tumbling class.
Also: sunglasses, shoelaces. I can't wait until the internet provides a DIY guide for these. Fridays at the BuzzFeed office just got awesome.
Celebrity Buzz M.I.A.'s baby has a name, and it's not Ickitt. I.E.A.B. will make for a natural stage name.
Culture Buzz Miss North Dakota (1997) has been working as a freelance journalist in Iran and is currently MIA. She was last heard from on February 10th, when she called home after being arrested for buying a bottle of wine. C'mon everybody, let's find this girl and bring her home.
Culture Buzz A stolen eight-foot tall mechanical gorilla was returned to its rightful owner this week, after a series of events involving YouTube hostage videos, a sock puppet named Sammie Longdong and a corn field in Vermont. After the Gorilla was first stolen from a Maine flea market, its owners took to YouTube to proclaim, “America, We Need Your Help”. The kidnappers countered with a mysterious video showing the robotic Gorilla as hostage to a sock puppet demanding a Dr. Evilish $1,000,000.
