Scientists uncovered what they believe to be a stash of 2,700 year old cannabis which was clearly used for “psychoactive purposes.” The 789 grams of marijuana was found in northwestern China, buried with mummy believed to be a shaman of Gushi culture. But the best part is The Chronicle Herald 's headline, which reads: “Researchers High on Ancient Pot Find.” Because we all know that there's gotta be some truth in that.

CULTURE BUZZ: Texas teen associated with Mother’s Against Drunk Driving delivers LSD laced cookies to police departments across North Texas. The culprit, who was serving a community service sentence with MADD for a previous offense, has been detained as the case pends further investigation. While one of the police departments was wary of the marijuana smell emitting from the treats (apparently weed was also in the mix), officers from Fort Worth dug right in. 10 bucks says they knew.
