M.I.A. Retires
Music Buzz M.I.A. announced her retirement from the music industry at Bonnaroo on June 13th. The recently engaged 30-year-old rapper canceled her European tour due to exhaustion, and has now confirmed that she will be ending her music career all together. In the past M.I.A. has expressed desires to get out of the music industry to focus her energy on art and launching her own clothing line, but now its official; M.I.A. will be MIA from our boomboxes.

It's kind of magical the way M.I.A. wears really loud, mismatched patterns without looking idiotacky. Now you, too, can attempt to pull off the same look.

Style Buzz The jewelry line created by Kali Arulpragasam, M.I.A.'s sister. Kali's third world bling really is kind of like the wearable equivalent of an M.I.A. song. For instance, her summer collection, entitled "Tourism," depicts the cultural highlights of countries currently affected by war and terrorism.
